So last weekend was the last cheer compition of the season....
for both girls.
We've been waiting for this one...it's at Six Flags New England...
Come on...people....we're talking roller coasters here!
We also knew a few of our favorite people were going to car pool up with us...
and that makes it super duper fun!
We had started hearing a few days before the competition that is was going to rain...
this completely bummed us out!
We crossed out fingers...
and headed out.
Early.
VERY VERY early.
and every single seatbelt was taken...
Which lead to some cuddling...
and talk of marriage in 20 or so years...
Of course...some parents got a little out of control...
but that tends to happen when you drink astronomical amounts of coffee from you favorite coffee place...
I think getting there is my very favorite part of trips...
short trips or long trips...
getting there is so filled with excitment...so filled with promise of wonderful memories with amazing people...
Spending three uninterupted hours in a car with these people...
believe it or not it makes me happy...
cause I get to see a little of this...
and a little bit of this...
I get to sit back and relax and enjoy the chitter chatter of best friends and little brothers and sisters... to put my feet up and just enjoy the ride...
I love watching my kiddos...
all of them...
the ones that live with me..
and the ones who I have grown to love...
I love watching them all...
let loose...
and have fun!
but most of all.
I love love love to watch them perform!
and these little guys...
they took a respectable 3rd...
out of 9 flippin teams..
we'll take it!
and then..
after freezing our butts off..
in the cold..
rain...
for hours...
and then...
we had a different kind of fun...
a Six Flags kind of fun...
and getting to do it withsome of your besties...
well it just makes it that much MORE fun!
until the next competition..
until next year...
I will try to memorize...
this smile..
Remember the taste of fried bread dough...
with cinnamon AND sugar..
of course...
remembering new friends...
who we hope become old friends...
and remembering what it's like
to snuggle up on the way home..
with one of your favorite people...
There's a whole lot of fun to remember from this weekend...
but most of all...
I hope we remember ...
how great it was to be together...
with each other...
becasue it truly doesn't get any better than this...
Link up with my friend Stephanie....
and her wicked fun Sunday Snapshot..

How fun!! I always loved cheer competitions and hope that my girls get into stuff like that one day and that we can afford to let them do it!
That last picture of Reagan was my favorite. I actually laughed out loud.
You just can't beat those memories & someday you'll be so glad you were a card carrying member of the mamarazi- because these pictures are priceless.
